    TRX70 carb issues

I have an 86 trx 70 with the 88cc big bore kit and racing head with 20mm carb. When I try to start I am getting a spark but won't catch. I sprayed starter fluid in the carb and that will catch, but I hit the throttle and nothing happens. I have had this carb off twice to clean it. When I unscrew the bottom bolt to let gas out of the bowl nothing comes out, yet when I start to unscrew one of the bolts holding on the bottom bowl gas starts to leak out.
    Stumped??
    Any ideas/

Does anyone know what the specs for trx stator are?
    Thanks

Well, after tearing it down twice and cleaning with soaking in carb cleaner, using the wires to clear the jets and blowing out any orifice it still would not start or let gas out of the bowl when I opened the bottom screw, I just bought a new carb and it started on the 2nd pull..................................
I think the problem is the float and the little rubber tipped valve stopper not working properly. I may try boiling the whole thing in lemon juice as I read that can loosen up and tiny particles.
