Yesterday's ride

I just thought I'd share the pictures from yesterday's ride. A friend and I went out and rode around in some pastures. I'm sorry to say that my friend is "handicapped" and has to have an extra front wheel for balance. He got this 1990 Polaris Trail Boss 250 for free and is slowly fixing it up to fully functional.
I had to bring along my 1983 AutoX just to make sure that the cool factor was at a satisfactory level. He has an old cooler strapped to his rear rack since we were trying to shed hunt. That's looking for dropped deer antlers.

Looks like nice country. Are those Kansas mountains? Hard to imagine that much open space. Any luck on the sheds?

This part of the state is really hilly, just like the eastern part. We only found two. The biggest reason is because we found a pile of deer carcasses that mostly had either the whole head missing or just the antlers. The ones that weren't poached, were probably chased off to other areas. The game warden was called and will be watching the area. It's hard to tell how many deer could have been shot and drug off to another location.
