    85 big red tires

has anyone switch to 12 inch rims and kept the 25 inch tall tires?

right now I am torn between the 25 and 27 inch tires. but I have a few questions

how dumb does it look with 27s on the back and the stock 25 on the front?

how does going to 12inch wheels and 25 inch tires affect floating?

anyone have experience with these questions?

pictures of the 27s and 25 if possible

I can get the 25s for about half the price of the 27s which is why I am really considering them

I don't know if this helps, but I'm going to run stock size mud tires on mine when I get it going. I rode my 250SX with a 250ES with these tires and the ES ran circles around my SX in the mud, sand, and water. I'm staying with the stock size just so I don't have to worry about all of the off camber riding that I usually do. Bigger tires and/or a lift will raise the center of gravity and it will tip over easier. Here's a comparison of the ES with the mud tires, an ES with the original tires and my SX. They mud tires look bigger, but he says that they are 25x12-9.Click image for larger version.
