    84 200s fuell line

Hello folks! I have an 84 200s. Idles rough. My buddy the 3 wheeler expert ( was with me when I picked it up) Said that I should drain the old gas from the fuel tank and start with fresh non ethanol fuel. The fuel line is OEM pretty sure an is dry rotted. I'm looking for what size fuel line and hose clamps I will need to do this. As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

The factory fuel line size is 4.5mm, I like to use the Honda fuel line, available on eBay, or most Honda dealers should have it. Part # is 95001-45003-60M. (For a roll of it) you can buy it by the foot as well.

If you go to your local auto parts shop, they likely won't have metric fuel line. I think 5/16 line would work as well.

Interesting! I use 7/32 on my 200S. That is 5.5mm line. I also use an in-line fuel filter, so one size up helps. I just jam it on there with no clamps. It still fits very tight.

5/16 is close to 8 mm. Quite a bit larger.
That might be the size we use on Big Reds, 250SX..... I would have to look to see if they have the same size nipple on the petcock and carb as the 200S.
I do know for sure that fuel line on my big ATCs is larger than the small ones.

It's very possible I could mean 1/4". I just ordered a bunch of fuel line and I got the wrong size because I mixed up my sizes. By all rights I really shouldn't be giving anyone advice on fuel lines now that I think about it.

Nice to see some self deprecation Fabio. Humility is sexy... so I've been told. My '85 200S measures around 5.5mm like keister's. Welcome First Trike!
