    Atc 70 cdi conversion

So a few years back I saw on Ebay a conversion to go from the points to the cdi on these atc 70s.
Has anyone had any experience with them? I ran across a thread on planet minis were they were discussing them with everyone having positive things to say.
However I am rebuilding mine with the 109 kit. All Honda.
Spangler said they quit selling the kit they had because of the negative responses.
Just curious what people here have experienced.

I’m pretty sure your crankshaft is a 6 volt crank. Those Cdi conversions are 12 volts if I’m not mistaken.

My mate runs one on his k1 atc 70 no probs. it's designed for 6 volt from memory so it won't work on trx 70.
