    New project!!!! 1985 Honda 70

So I picked up my next project for a whopping 100 bucks! Needs a new carburetor, intake, thumb throttle, and I’m pretty sure a bunch of other things that I’m missing. Anyways my plan is to get it running and keep it stock for my 7 year old to ride with me. The bike is in good shape, the tank needs to be cleaned out due to rust inside but if I can’t clean it up good enough I’ll just buy a plastic one. I’m new to the 3 wheeler world and noticed I cannot find a cdi box for this. Does this even have a cdi box since it has points? If anybody and post some pictures of their electrical system on this I would appreciate it. Any help I can get from you guys would help. I can honestly say I have caught the 3 wheeler bug!!!

http://www.oscarmayer.net/atc/manual...a/ATC70_85.pdf. No cdi on these-points and condenser is behind recoil starter. Welcome and congratulations!

There are threads here on different ways to remove inner tank rust. Most after cleaning can weep at the bottom seam. If this should happen look for Red Coat at local auto parts. It's a simple way to save a metal tank. Maier had some Factory style full sets yellow, black, red for $165 not long ago.
