Does anyone know if any other camshafts are compatible with the 200x? I have heard talk of XR200 cams possibly being a match but not sure.

Yes and no. Only the cam from a two valve XR200 engine will work. It is an upgrade compared to a stock 200X cam. It won't make "huge" power, but you'll make more.

XR200 cam is a direct swap in I believe. I don't think you'll have to change anything else but it might not hurt to upgrade the valve springs and throw a set of valve seals in while you're there.

Ok thanks. Is it difficult to remove the valves? Does it require special tools?
Not too difficult but when doing it just be patient. You can make the tool to remove the keepers, just take a deep well socket (5/8" works best) and cut one side of it out to extract the keepers, compress the spring with the socket on the spring with a 6" c-clamp and pull the keepers.

Thanks for the information!
My cam shaft is worn and im thinking of replacing it with a xr 200 cam, is it needed to replace the springs? will it make any difference?
