    Good Deal?

    Howdy all,
This past week, my cousin and I found a deal on 3 Yamaha 3 wheelers (and a Kawasaki Bayou 250 that’s junk). With wheat harvest over, we wanted something to tinker with. We found a 1983 YT175K, a 1985 YTM200ERN, and a 1985 YTM225DX. The 175 runs (first pull on the rope it fired), but needs throttle, brake, clutch cables, and tires. The other two are seized, but the motors were capped off, so no moisture should have gotten in. They are both missing cables, the seat with plastic, drive shafts, need tires, etc, as far as I have seen so far. We haven’t had time to really take a better look at them. Spent $175 total for all of them. Being a complete newbie to the 3 wheeler world, did we make a mistake or did we find a good deal?

175 good deal there brother. I've freed up motors that others have said were seized up even with moisture in them.

I think that's a steal! I personally never cared for the look of Yamaha or Suzuki 3 wheelers but I have ridden a Tri-Moto 125 a few times and it was a solid dependable machine.

Do post pics of your progress please.
