Waving a hand. Back in the game.

Well it’s been a VERY long time since I’ve been into 3 wheelers. Life and such gets int he way. I don’t even remember the last time I posted here. But I’m sure I’ve been a memeber for well over 12 years now.

Picked up a Yamaha ytm 200e and a 225DX. Both very nice machines that I plan to resurrect slowly. This weekend I’ll hopefully start tearing into them and seeing exactly what they need. In the mean time. Is anyone parting out any of these ? I’m sure I’ll be needing a few parts.

I’m sure it’s possible I’ll be seeing some familiar names here and meet some new people. I remember this to be a great group.

Here’s some photos of the candidates.

Awesome, welcome back. I just recently rebuilt/ restored a 1985 Yamaha 225dr so feel free to ask any questions or advice if needed. Both of them look to be in pretty decent condition, do they run at all or?

As of right now none are running that I’ve saw with my own eyes. But as per buying one as usual the seller said they did “run”

Going to start on the 225 tommorow, I’m going to make that one totally complete and running. Then go on a parts hunt for what’s needed to make the 200 run. But I plan to have both fully operaidonal. The 200 has great plasrics. Just sun faded. So I plan to refinish those.

Patbikewell I’ll for sure be taking you up on that. About 10 years ago I took a 225 down to the frame and rebuilt it so imm sure once I dig into it a lot will come back. I’ll keep you in the loop non the less.

    Thanks !
