Drz 400 street legal trike conversion

Has anyone done this or attempted it? I have searched and haven't found any using a drz. I am in the process of this now gathering some parts.

That’s a good lookin conversion! As for converting a drz I can’t help ya there. Some Harley’s are 3 wheels so it’s possible you can do it but you’ll probably get pulled over every time you take it out lol

That LTZ looks great! And the DRZ looks like in on the same track. Great work
Looking for a Bassani silencer for a 2nd gen tecate, the style with the movable mount. 1st gen will work

Wow, that looks great! I just picked up a KFX400 for real cheap. Was just going to pull the motor from it and use it for another project, but now I'm thinking maybe i should pick up a DRZ frame and convert to a trike since I have the subframe/swinger/seat/fenders from the quad. Did the swinger & subframe bolt up pretty easily? How much modification was needed? Can't wait to see it when you're all done!

A lot of modifications were needed nothing is a direct bolt on. Swing arm is not a direct swap.

Yea I know it's not a direct swap, guess I was just wondering how involved it was.. a lot of fab, or not too bad. lol
