*** new addition to the collection ***

    Hello all,

Picked up this mint one owner '84 Honda atc200es yesterday. They are still out there. 2 1/2 hour drive each way. Appears to be all original except the new tires and new battery. Inside of gas tank - virgin clean. Missing the "Big Red" & "200" decals on the side fenders. I am sure I have Honda NOS decals somewhere in my parts bin. Starts, runs and idles very nice. Time permitting - might take it a for a little cruise today.

Thanks - told my wife I wanted to put it on display in the living room - she rolled her eyes and walked away and muttered "idiot". It is stored with the other 5 ATCs' in the garage.

    Cheers.

That’s funny. My wife would have added “I hope your new girlfriend is dumb enough to let you.”

Very nice '84. Would look great with a set of original Dunlops but they are hard/impossible to find now

The "welcome mat" is always at the front door along with a cold adult beverage in the fridge.

Thought 84 big red came with dunlops? 110, 125m, 200s, 200m had ohtsu with the little chevron pattern..

Nope ohtsus came stock on all the three-wheelers except some of the 250r models.

For 84 you mean? Could have sworn Big Reds ran dunlops, including the 85+ 250.

only info found was this is from an 82 or 83 200E: Click image for larger version.

The 250 big red all ran 501 ohtsus and the 84 big red ran ohtsu knobbies. Apparently the 82 200e had dunlops as an option but ive never seen one with the dunlops. But I dont want to jack this guys thread about his amazing find to have an argument about what tires came stock on bikes that are 30 years old.

Looked at my 1984 atc200es sales brochure - was not able to make out the brand of tire shown in the pictures.
