    Arizona Honda 185s

Hey everyone I got a couple trikes in a trade deal. Two Honda 185s in very rough shape and one Yamaha trimoto 125 that’s pretty decent. Long story short none of them ran but they now are all running! The Honda’s are extremely fun. I won’t post much on the condition of these bikes as I’m getting a few parts in to undo some of the “temporary” things I’ve done to get it going. One thing so far I have found out is it’s impossible to get a seat pan for these now so I’ll be making two out of a nice rigid metal. I made a template for the seat pan already.Click image for larger version.

If the seat pans work out well, there may be a market for them.

Seat pan works! However it just creates a moot style “shaved” look seat. Probably would be fine for others with no rear fenders but I don’t have a set of fenders to mock up a pan that will work with the genders and close to stock seat shape. I’ll take pics as I mock one up that will also release with the seat latch.

Is that one of the fiberglass aftermarket ones that is hard to get your hands on now a days? That’s pretty cool for sure however I don’t have any genders on either and the seat pan I made is out of steel but made for a pretty cool Moto style very simple seat. I’ll have to post pics here shortly with my seat situation because it’s definitely not factory but it definitely works very good.

Not fiberglass, Zinc built up on stock steel pan media blasted, and powder coated.

I will say the padding and upholstery is very much so temporary, I am just excited to ride with at least some sort of seat. I will get more dense foam that what I was able to get from Walmart. I like the vinyl I chose for the fabric so it’ll be the same color, hopefully more low produce and same comfort. Loving it so far though and the 6061 aluminum is a very rigid base.
