Down to the 1 on my 85 bike (was an 86 NOS crate) and another in my shop floor.
It's hard to shell out $1k+ on those things when you used to be able to land them for $100-300 back in the early-to-mid 90s.
I don't see the rear shock for $700 though. You can buy a crap one and rebuild as long as the shaft is good and make it even better than stock was. I guess that doesn't matter if you are going to have a museum piece.
There was a nos 350x rear shock that I saw sold on feebay not too long ago go for IIRC was around $500-$700. I'm with you on rebuilding a used one and making it better. I'm glad I scored my 85 NOS front forks for $160 not too long ago. Seems like there have been those nos packaged 350x forks for sale for a while now. I've seen them on feebay for what seems like a year now.
