    Lurker with results

Hello all! I have been lurking here for a while and gathering some knowledge and resources that have helped me in my quest to get an old ytm225 to live again. Thanks to all the members for the detailed information. I have a 1984 ytm225 and have it running so reliably! I just love these machines! If anyone wants to know, the windshield it is from craigslist and is a quick-clamp from a Polaris sportsman. It took very little modification to make it work and does a terrific job.

Welcome to the forms. Very nice Yamaha 225 you got there. Not sure if you're interested but you can get a full decal kit for your specific model on feebay.

Yes I need to do the decals for sure but the tank plastic is pretty decrepit! I hope to replace it someday.
