1983 Honda ATC200X Rear Shock Recharge

I'm wanting to get my rear shock recharged. I'm unsure if it has any leaks or not, but it probably does. I was going to put some compressed air in there and see if it leaks, but I can't figure out how to get the cap off the resevoir. The manual doesn't show how, and I can't find anything about it on this site.

Does anybody have experience doing this job? Pictures would be great if anybody has some.

just put a monkey wrench on the nippy and pull. it should come right off.

Unfortunately, there is no other way than to just grab it with pliers and pop it off.

any shop can blow nitrogen into the shock for 5-10 bucks. Id think you'd want to rebuild or sprung for you weight 1st. I know guy who fully rebuilds them for about $200.
