    1982 honda atc 185s issue

    1982 Honda ATC 185s wouldn't start, even after checking everything i could plugs wires etc. rebuilt the carb with a Honda rebuild kit and everything went back together the way it was Taken apart, she starts but now it has a very high idle. anyone with experience or knowledge of these have any advice or suggestions?

    Check linkage/ slide and idle screw is turned out. Ensure no air leaks on carb to intake.

    Is the slide for the carb put in the proper way?
    Is your idle set screw to tight?
    Is your spark plug new?

    I had this same issue, cleaned and disassembled the carb countless times, ending up rebuilding it and it continued , I bought a new spark plug and it cured it 100%.
