    86 Tecate clutch pack

Kawasaki uses the same picture for 84-86 Tecates and the KX250 parts diagrams. I think that it is a generic picture. On the back of my outer hub it has 55 teeth and on the inner splines i count 18. The picture shows 47 teeth and 16 inner splines on all parts diagrams.
I bought an extra clutch for the 86, if was advertised as such. Don't want to open up my clutch cover yet. Anyone know if this is the correct one for an 86? Spent 80 bucks on this for a spare, marked down from 100.

I’d ask Barnett since he made the Tecate for Kawasaki. He used to sell a clutch kit for that bike but I can’t find it on eBay right now, try sending him a PM.

Yes, your photo is of an 86/87 KXT250 clutch.

No, I did not single handedly make the Tecate.

Barnett clutch used to sell clutch kits but I have no affiliation with that company and prefer the stock clutch.
