I keep blowing bulbs, and I am stuck on the solution..... I checked the grounds all seem to be good. When I check the front bulb socket, at idle I get 11 volts ac. If I rev it, it will go all the way to 30 volts ac. any help appreciated

It’s a 6 volt system unregulated , meaning the bulb is your resistor .
Try grounding from the motor and using an analog meter for testing , could be as simple as a bad ground .
