    ATC Bandito Pick up

Just picked this up today. From the research it looks like a Bandito frame. Not sure why it has two different upper motor mount provisions. Pretty much complete with Super Trap exhaust. The guy I got it from said it has a bad stator. He got it from a customer of his, he actually got three ATC's, one of which I already purchased from him. See picture of the yellow one. So he doesn't have any history or know anything about either of these two ATC's. The yellow one is a 1977, and was running until recently, rusty tank clogged up the carb and throttle stuck. The red one is obviously the Bandito framed one. Any help on why the frame has two upper motor mounts would be great. All the ones I have seen are not set up like this.

Hi there shortline10, a few questions if you don't mind.
    1. Why does my Bandito frame have two upper motor mount attachment points?
    2. Are 90 and 110 engines the same regarding mounting configuration?
    3. 85 110 was the first year for CDI? What is the difference between CDI and none CDI?
    4. Why do people eliminate the low gear feature?
    5. Are rear fenders and tanks interchangeable between 90 and 110's, or is it more Year driven?

The 90 and 110 have different head motor mounts .

1981 is the first year for CDI on the 110 , more aftermarket performance parts available for the points style motors .

The hi/low delete is done for easy sprocket changing and also less drive train equaling in more power .

Fenders and tank are all interchangeable except 83-85 110s , those years the seat rides up on the tank so the seat and tank need to be used together . 1970-82 can all be interchanged .
