    Front brake use

For the guys that have a front brake how often do you use it? my '85 110 doesn't have one, and in the modifications for the build I have planned I was wondering if it'd be worth the time and effort to put one on. If you haven't seen any of my earlier post I'm basically going turn my 110 in a 200x's little brother, and intend to use it primarily as a trail runner.

Almost never. Only really use it when I know the rear pads are low and need to be changed but haven’t changed them yet.

Plan it for last. By then you'll know if you want one, and it doesn't ruin a plan to wait til it's done to add it.

I ride motos...its like 70+% of your braking power on 2 wheels. Its burned into my instincts now.

I always use the front brake. You can control how much brake you use. It's not an all or nothing type of situation.

Almost never use front brakes. Only time it's come in handy for me is when rolling backwards down a hill applying the front prevents the machine from doing a backflip - which is what could happen if rear are applied instead.

Brakes are for cowards and little girly men.

Seriously though, I'm building a 200E right now and I deleted the front brake just because I didn't have enough parts or wherewithal to get it all together. Never use the front brake anyway.

I think it depends on how you learned to ride, but I use them quite a lot, especially going downhill. The rear brakes alone don't control speed well enough in that situation.

I use em both. Hit the back first and squeeze the front as i need/want.

Ok thanks for the feedback, I have rode quads and typically use the front more than the rear but I just wasn't sure how differently the trike will behave.
