Maier v Original Tri Z plastics

How are they different? If I were buying, what would I look for in person or in pics that are tell-tale signs they are original or aftermarket?
    Thanks!

I have a set of each. The edges of the OEM plastic is smoother VS the Maiers that has sharp edges. The Maiers also seems stiffer than OEM.

Personally I’d take new Maiers plastic over used OEM just because new plastic looks great and NOS plastic costs a fortune. If I was restoring a trike to 100% stock NOS plastic would be the way to go, but other than that I can’t think of a good reason not to use after market plastic.

That’s what I wanted to know. Actually will be looking at a supposedly all original Z soon and don’t have the experience to pick the details apart.
