    big red fender alternatives?

wondering if anyone has any ideas on making up fenders from alternative sources. I have 2 Honda 250es bikes ...one with new Meier fenders on one 250es but the other bike is more of a hunting machine and goes through hell and back every fall. I was thinking about trying to make rear fenders from one of those food grade blue plastic 45 gal. barrels. Just wondering if anyone has any better ideas? Red barrels are non existent

We have red barrels out here. Not sure if they would ever show up in your area. Too bad that they have the big ribs:

Bent diamond plate might be cool. Not sure about weight tho. Kinda like this trailer: http://imageserv11.team-logic.com/me...DSCN0069_1.JPG

What about 3D printing? Maybe not that crazy .. if they can do this: https://saskatchewanderer.ca/blog/wo...camper-trailer

they need to be plastic. If you made fenders out of metal im afraid you would slice your leg all to hell if or when tipover happens.

that 3d camper is from right here in my city...what are the odds of that
