Universal 6-pack rack w/strap on Maier website!

Hey all just wanted to let you know that Maier just recently listed those universal clamp-on 6-pack racks which will fit any grab bar. I was under the impression they were discontinued, and I was about to buy a rusted up used one when I tried searching the part number and voila it is a new listing on their site and its 50% off so maybe they found a few and are trying to get rid of them. Pretty sure its $32 for the rack and 8 for the strap. Anyways i posted the pictures and part numbers for you all. Enjoy!

Lets face it, although trikes are becoming even more popular, some of the available parts are being discontinued all the time.

Were the ones made back in the day (80s....the greatest era ever.....kinda like a Tecate) made by Maier too?
I've got one of those somewhere in a barn but I doubt it will fit on the PRM grab bar I have now.

Probably made to hold a 12-pack back in the day.

Im guessing they were made by a few different companies, but yes, maier was one of them that sold this back in the day (haha yes the best era ever). I could see how someone would think they were garbage, since the way they mount could make it so the rack kinda pivots instead of staying firmly in place, and can cause your grab bar to be scratched up. But if you spend an extra dollar or two, and add a couple of rubber strips, it can solve that problem....you know the ones that come with cheap universal handlebar phone mounts and whatnot - well they sell it at home depot - cut two small strips, wrap it around the grab bar and then clamp it directly onto that, so the rubber strip is in between the mounts and the grab bar. It wont move, and it won't scratch. Problem solved.

I bought one of these and installed it on my son's 1978 ATC 90 and it looks awesome. He picked it out and loves it. I cut two pieces of bicycle innertube to put under the clamps worked great. Did I mention how cool it looks.
Rebuilding and riding trikes everyday and lovin every minute.

Yeah they look great, installed mine not too long ago. Initially i only put the rubber to prevent scratching the stock grab bar, but the stability is definitely an added benefit.
