you want to replace the original shock with an aftermarket one?

    if so, why?

are you certain you have an 85 shock and rocker arm?

Unfortunately the hubs on the 84/85 are 13 spline (I believe) and difficult to find alternatives for. It seems like I've read the the Lokata or Mojavi hubs might work, but you'll have to research it. Regarding the rear shock, I've heard of people using the 01 Raptor 660, but it raises the rear end a bit. And you might have to drill out a mount larger too.

i would just get it rebuilt then. all the pro 3 wheel racers in the 80's used the stock shock including me, but some like jimmy white may have had it revalved for his weight and speed.

But the 85s look soooooooo awesome with the 4x156 hubs and aluminum rims.

Of course, you probably have a bunch of Honda rims for the trikes you ride after the T3 breaks down

KLF 185 Bayou hubs. 85 ONLY. 4x110 bolt pattern and course splines.

The later year Bayous have finer splines so look closely at them when buying.

Banshee shocks are cheap and almost bolt on and work pretty well.
I've bought good ones as cheap as $25, but you have to be patient.

Might be worth having the stocker rebuilt and valved and sprung for you.
