    cleaning wheels - 250r

Any advice on wheel / tire care?

    Especially 250 gold anodized wheels . . .

Red clay sticks and stains like no other. Need a strong cleaner that won't damage rubber or wheels.

    Thanks.

Stay away from any polish type materials, a good soapy wash followed by a mr clean magic eraser works pretty good on dirt stains.

I haven't tried their products yet, but I have some on the way and can let you know how they do. Slick Products has Off road wash, de-greaser, and a shine/protector that should help get it off. the shine will help mud not to stick. They are also non-corrosive, you you don't have to worry about them damaging your paint or tires.

I also saw a trick on newer wheels. You take WD40, spray it on your truck wheels and it makes it much harder for snow and salt to stay on your wheels. Might work the same on your wheels.

Or maybe a spray wax or paste wax to add an extra layer of protection.
