    Fastener BOM

    Here's a thought / wish:

Does anyone have a fastener BOM for either an 81 | 83 250R.

I am aware of partzillia. Etc.

Would be nice to have a BOM so i can see what I want to order in list format.

That way I can order parts for an entire assembly without having to figure out if I've added everything i need to the cart. . .

For example I need fasteners to attach a new old stock air box to the 1981. I also need fasteners to attach the original exhaust.

To do that I go to partzilla and start adding fasteners to the card.

I soon forget which fastener is which and I have to start all over.

    thanks.

Not sure what a BOM is, but I'd just make a list of what you need, do it diagram by diagram, then just click add to cart per part number you need. The default quantity is how many are used on the diagram generally speaking. You could also note down the part numbers + qty and take it to a Honda dealership and they can order them in for you too and you save shipping generally. Down side is, most dealerships charge full MSRP price, at least around me they do.

You can probably save a bunch by cleaning all your existing really well with a wire wheel and having them replated. I've done half a dozen machines and replaced all the metal parts usually for a couple hundred bucks, axles and all metal hardware.
