I picked up this 1982 ATC185S Saturday morning. No, it was no gold mine. It wasn't a really smoking deal, but for $100 plus a 20 mile drive, I couldn't say no. Especially since it's mostly there. I'm nor huge fan of the trikes with no suspension at all, so I think I'll Frankentrike it a little bit. I got a 1984 200S in a buy from a friend about 1 1/2 years ago. There's not much of it left so I plan to put the front end on this '82. I'll have to ditch the Trail Pros and replace them with some Cheng Shin C829s to have a ride I can tolerate. I don't know if the rear rack is Hondaline or not, but I know that the mounts sure aren't. I like it and will be keeping it. There's very little rust in the bottom of the tank. A few flushes with gas will remove the worst of it. I've been told that the tank's not original, but it doesn't really matter much to me. It will just be a rider, not a showpiece. Heck, the seat pan's not even rusted through.
