Greetings This is onmy 84 Big Red .They were recently working intermittenly now theres just NOTHING. Neither one works which makes me think it might be a ground issue ? If so where should I start?

Pull the dash and check the light connections there. If that ain't it, just slowly trace your way back from there following the wiring diagram. There's not a whole lot to those lights. They get a ground from the two engine contact switches. One in the main transmission and the other in the sub transmission.

Okee doke. I will dive in there and hopefully find the problem then post my findings ( If any ! ) Thanks again
Much surprise to me, BOTH bulbs were bad (?) AND the parts store in town did NOT have the cute little 12v 3W bulbs that burnt out bulbs , only 1.5 W, but they worked. We will see how long they last

Interesting that both bulbs burnt out at the same time. How were the light sockets, maybe they just had poor connection?
