Does anyone know a common automotive light bulb that is a direct replacement for the 250es neutral light? I work in a parts store and the closest thing we have is a #37 that is 1.3w and #74 that is 1.4w. The original is 3w.

Trikes: Cagiva 200, 85? Tiger 250,(2)84 200x's , (3)86 200x's, 87 200x, (5)85 350x's, (2)86 350x's, (2)85 250r's, 86 Tecate, (3) 85 250sx's Restoring: 83 200x, 86 250sx. Too many utility trikes to list.
1.3-1.7w works just fine, 3w might be a tiny bit brighter but hard to even notice it. It's just a T5 style bulb though. There's also LED versions on ebay that seem to work just fine too. The 250es already has DC power so LED is just fine as long as you get the polarity correct.
If you really want to stick with the 3w, the bulb is still listed for sale by Honda.

Honda seems to use Stanly brand a lot, so that might be a hint where to look for a non-honda branded bulb.
