I'll try and post some pics but there was a 200 big red that sold at an auction in northern Ohio for 2200.oo bucks! Am I that out of touch with modern prices or is it just me? I'd love to hear some comments on this one.

I'd be curious to see what kinda condition it was in.

To me that seems pretty high for a 200 BR but it is up north.

According to my sister in law the gas tank was descent inside. But from the pics she sent me the rolling chassis appeared to be nice but if your able to look at the engine and front forks very good I'd say average. Me personally I'd never seen a 200 big red sale for this kind of money.

The crazy thing is when she sent me the picture and the details of this auction I had it confused for another auction with the same trike in another area that was going on tonight. I was gonna go but I worked really late today. I can't wait to hear what this other one goes for. It's in amish country so that usually means a couple dumb as..s will make it go high as well. But we'll see.
WOW. I know things have got crazy in prices over the last couple of years. BUT that is very high for a BR in that area i would think.

Chicks love guys that ride trikes
I'd say it's high for any area, I mean seriously that has to be a case of people not knowing a damn thing about 3 wheelers. Unless it was a case of sentimental value. I'd say a bike like this in my area (north east Ohio) is right around 500 too 900 bucks, and that's just what I feel there worth.
Man I quit going to auctions lately. When I was much younger, you could get good deals on stuff and occasionally an item would draw a bidding war but lately around here, auctions seem to be hosting pissing matches for people with big pockets. It's like a way to have a wallet war, or something.

That would be a 12-1500 Machine down this way but to reach 2200 it had to be knuckle heads bidding it up IMO .

Totally agreed, the amish in my area bids the property so high normal Joe's don't even have a chance. 56 acres just sold for 600g's.
Yeah forget houses. Even when they auction a total dump, house flippers with lenders in tow bid up everything.
The Amish keep to themselves the next county south but down there is just like where you are.
The saddest is the big farms that get chopped up into varying size peices with a half acre lot selling for 35K. If it's wooded, they come in and slash all 150 acres and then turn around and build houses and try to reforest the place with nursery trees. You'd think Japanese maple were the State Tree.
