    Yt175 idle screw?

    Hey guys
I have a yt175 that I’ve just done crank seals on, it seems to idle fine. But if I try to screw the idle screw in or out it makes no difference to the idle? What do you suggest?
Maybe move the clip up on the needle? Any ideas would help thanks
    Ivan

You sure there are no air leaks? Did you pressure test the case yet?

What Yeager said plus make sure you have at least 1/8” of play in your throttle cable. Check that first and then pull the carb off with the cable still on it and make sure that the slide is contacting the adjustment screw in the closed position.

If both these things don’t check out look at all your cable connections at the top of the carb and the thumb control to make sure the cable housing is properly seated.

Cable was in the wrong spot, so I moved the cable to the manual and now I can use the idle screw!
