    Idle Speed

'85 ATC125m. I had posted a while ago about misfires at idle when cold. I thought it was a carb issue, made some adjustments that are probably either rich or lean, and still did it. I diag'd the ignition system yesterday and found the ignition coil was way over the spec'd resistance for the coil. Tested the rest of the ignition, all passed. New coil on the way. Once I do get it on, I want to readjust the carb to get it correct since it's probably out of adjustment. I was reading the shop manual, and it says to set idle to 1,700 RPM's. Isn't that a bit high for idle? Is it a misprint or the actual speed it should idle at? Just seems pretty high.
