    1984 honda 250r front sprocket

Hey thanks for the help on my first post here!

I am in the middle of a rebuild and need to get a new front sprocket, the old one was a 14 tooth , was wondering if I would notice any difference in acceleration if I say went with a 11-13 tooth ? I can find sprockets easily online, but can NOT find the lock plate that goes over it anywhere. Was wondering if anyone knew a good place to find that, maybe a link to it? Thank you all again, any help and info is appreciated !

Yes you would notice the better acceleration by going to a smaller front sprocket. I think that 1 tooth on the front is about like 5 or 6 on the rear.

    Always check partzilla: https://www.partzilla.com/product/honda/23811-430-000

One tooth on the front sprocket equals 3 on the rear.
