Long time lurker 1986 Tecate build

    Hello,

Just picked up a 1986 Tecate on a fire sale. Going through it to make it look new. Time to go tear up Glamis on a 33 year old bike! Always been a dream to have one. Super shitshow on Facebook but when the dust settled and some hurt feelings it was in the back of my truck. Great site have been lurking for years.

    Thanks!

There are a few guys on that Facebook page that single handedly inflated the Tecate price market, so they get pissed when a bike like yours turns up for cheap and they're not the ones able to grab it and sell it for quadruple what they payed. It takes the wind out of their sales when they try and sell rollers for $4500 and a complete bike pops up for 1/4 that.

I think you misquoted that. Isn't it supposed to be "Tecate, the most powerful three wheeler in the universe?".

TECATE is always spelled with all capital letters!
