Hey guys I’ve picked up this 70 here in Australia and found out that the engine in a 74 from the decoder! But what year is the frame? This is the frame number? Can anyone help?
This is what is stamped on the frame! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks Ivan

If you go to the home page on the left hand side is a place you can decode your serial number

When I put it in nothing comes up and says invalid frame number? That’s why I thought I would post it up here and see what people think? Could it be a made up frame number?

That’s what I mean! Maybe it’s been grounded down! Maybe it’s started with c6 so could be a 81 model?

What makes you believe it's not a 74 frame? Take a pic of the frame, the 73/74 are different from the 80's

I'm no 70 expert, but I believe that is a newer style 70 frame and not a 74.
