    250R frame - How much powder?

    I'm getting quotes to have my '85 250R frame powdercoated.

    For those that have done it, how much powder did you order / were you charged for?


    My first quote I was told 4 lbs.

    I had my 86 250r done and IIRC that is about right. I also had few extras small pieces done too at that time.

    Got a second quote this morning:

    1/2 the price and only 2 lbs of powder.

    This quote is much more in line with what I've seen others paying for powdercoating.

    I normaly drop off frames at a powder coated, $100 and it comes back perfect no mess.
