ID:	260225 and after. I got it running with some spare carbs I had in my pile of junk. Then my wire harness was all crusty looking. It runs but sketchy. I fired it up and it smokes like a freight train, damn! Well it's at least together and it follows the rules of the kiesters style of racing. Ill deal with the motor this winter, no big deal.

ID:	260319 things might slow down on the auto x build for a little bit. Cut the hell out of my finger yesterday at work. I'm still doing what I can though.

Ouch, that doesn't look like fun , hopefully it heals up quick for ya.

I've found taking Vit C and Vit E pills seem to help heal faster. One of the few times I ever take any kind of pill.

Thanks, yeah I need to do something. I can't be down for to long. I'm still working even though the hospital said light duty but I'm still welding and fabbing. I wanna get this build done. I'm gonna try to keep plugging away at this thing.

Yea, I'm the same way. I recently heard a term an older feller was told as a kid and makes complete sense. It's more in the context of being sick (flu, cold, etc). Those that are sick and do nothing stay sick. Basically saying doing stuff, getting the blood flowing etc is good, and I suspect that must be true. My sister gets sick a lot (side effect of asthma), and she generally just lays around and waits the sickness away. However my mom, dad, and myself get over sicknesses quicker than most people we know, and we never just lay in bed except to sleep. Of course can't over do things, that's not good either, have to have a good balance between work and rest.

Based on some of my google research, the body heals the best while you're sleeping, so a little extra sleep might help speed up the healing too.
