    My auto x build

Well I acquired a 200x roller like 5 years ago and I'm finally getting to build this thing. It's not gonna be the most exciting build for any of you viewers but here it goes. I tore it all down and blasted and painted the frame along with the swing arm.put all new bearings in the frame and the swinger just to get started. I've a got a ton of new parts that I finally ordered for it. I'll post pics soon

An AutoX is a really fun machine to ride. I love mine. It's my favorite by far. As long as you enjoy it for what it is, you'll be fine. Some people like to tell you how much better their 350X or 250R is. That may be true, but you didn't buy one of those. That's how I look at it.

350 that's so true, I got a 85 310r and a 86 350x and I love them both but I grew up on a 185 hard tail and to this day its still my favorite bike by far! But throw some suspension and a high compression piston in the mix it's just gonna be a whole lot funner. I'm pumped to get this one done. I got the chain adjusters to fit finally. Can't wait to get home tomorrow after work. I'll keep every one updated.

Yea the 350x/250r are nice for speed and such, but the auto x caters to people that like the semi automatic transmissions. My go to for that effect is the ATC250SX, but I like shaft drive, auto x would be lighter and should be more nimble being chain drive. Front forks are better too. The SX rides too stiff in my book, but probably partial due to the fact it was designed as a "sport utility" and not just sport.

Anyway, subbed for the build progress GL with everything. Let me know if you need anything made/modded for the electrical side of things, or just general electrical help.

ID:	260209 here's the latest pic of it as I'm still waiting on a few more parts. Last night went to put the mono on and to see that it needs rebuilt. Might as well powder coat the spring while I'm at it.

Ok so I got to tell a little more about this build and the havoc I'm causing myself lol.I have a 185s with a 200 motor in it and I absolutely love this motor. I bought it rebuilt with a high compression piston in it. I raced it at trikefest this year and had a blast on it. Click image for larger version.

So I took a stock motor off my shelf cleaned it up and stuffed it the hard tail racer. Cleaned and painted a stock exhaust I had laying around and put it all back together. Since I took the motor out for my auto x build I didn't want to leave this hard tail in pieces.
