90% of the 200 's running around are just about plugged full. Sad but true. Get yourself some latex gloves and keep all that cleaning solvent off your skin. Good for you doing a proper tune up.
Please help those who cannot help themselves.

ALWAYS buying Museum quality machines,3 and 4 wheels. And any and ALL ,NOS parts,EVERY brand.

I am turning my PM's Off,my Email is billsracing@hotmail.com,put 3WW in the subject. Thanx!

So...there are several maintenance items on a 30 day schedule.

Is that 30 eight hour days, or 30 twenty four hour days?

That's kind of the problem, it's not really defined. I think it's more along the lines of 30 days where the machine is used, but that's just how I'd understand the usage. A better defined schedule would be miles or hours I'd think. I'll grab a schedule for a newer machine that has an hour meter and odometer.

Going off that I'd guess around every 500 miles or 100 hours. If my guess is right, then Honda expects the average (or max?) ride time per day is 3.3 hours. Sadly most 3 wheelers don't have a speedometer or hour meter. I suspect not too many people keep a tally how many days they rode their machine either but this should give an idea atleast. I'd guess unless the machine is rode a lot, servicing it every 6 or 12 months is an easier figure to go by.

That's the one maintenance item I've overlooked on my '83 ATC 200 since I purchased it in 1994. I'm actually curious to see what it looks like after the 25 years of 'average' riding I've put on it. Now that you've mentioned it I may have to force myself to clean it...
