    Help with 83 250r

I have an 83 250r that’s been sitting a while and has a pretty good amount of rust on the connecting rod and stator cover the clutch is rust free though but I haven’t cracked the case completely open yet too see if there’s rust anywhere else what I wanted to know is would I be better off buying another case and switching my good parts into the new case or would it be easier to replace my rusted parts and somehow clean the case of any rust? unless the other bottom end is fresh with new bearings and seals with a rebuilt crank I would rebuild the one you have. Those bottom ends are relatively easy to rebuild with a manual. The hard parts to source are the bearings but not impossible. The crank can be rebuilt as well.
