    Petcock repair or replace

85 ATC 200S has a snapped petcock. Do I go $40+ for OEM, $8 for this thing at Wally World (below), or try and glue it?

I say replace it with the cheapo petcock. Worth a shot. Not risking much. I replaced the petcock on my old XL250R with a cheapo several years ago and it still working fine.

Glue won’t hold up. I would say replace with OEM, we purchased one once for a guy’s trike once and it was not a direct bolt on we ended up mix and matching parts. You take all the guess work out when you go oem imo.

i say replce. they are so cheap and its fine is they only last 2 years. I have put the cheaper ones on all the machines ive build ground up and never had issues. old is old and new is new.
