Looks like it survived pretty well for being stored outside. Nice find. Should be an easy cleanup

I would've bought it too. Usually they are clapped out pretty bad which is odd, because I see chunks of moss growing on it but it looks like it's been inside a building for at least a large part of it's life.
Does the motor turn over and have compression? Or does it look like a rebuild in your future?
Keep the updates coming

It was a second owner trike. Still have to pick up the original paper work. I think what happened it starting leaking oil and stored and forgotten about.
Moss and all sorts of mouse nests inside the tool box area. Those 8hp with cast iron bore are still around. I might just find one and bolt in. No BS required my kind of motor work.
I'll definitely have this one running and out by this summer and see how it rides. Hard tail no suspension should make for a ruff ride

Nice score! Good luck getting it running over the winter
That’s the cleanest manco I have seen in quite a while. Take good care of it. Very cool find.
Nice that you got the manuals and stuff too.
A little marvel mystery oil thru the plug hole and let it soak a week and I'd bet it would turn over easily

She was leaking oil pretty bad out of the motor when I brought it home. Since then I have moved some projects around and don’t think I’ll get to this one.
I couldn’t beat the price on it but if someone close is interested pm me

I read that advertisement.
It's somewhat silly they thought a hardware store, go kart parts bin, agricultural engine, trike would be competitive against a in-house manufactured product with purpose built components, at any price point.
I wouldn't mind owning that little piece of history though.
Good job on saving it. Hopefully someone has some time for it and a nice sheltered area to keep it.

I agree I would have liked to see some of those 3000 hours put in for the tough testing.
I bet it would have been fun watching someone trying to launch that off a jump.
After a few projects coming up I decided to sell this one. If your close or near the buffalo boarder I can meet you. If you want to own this machine. PM me and we can arrange something. I just don't have the time for this but definitely has some redness to it.

I'm closer to Mexico than Canada. I just meant it'd be nice to have something different like that. Thanks though!
