    Gasket maker 1985 atc250r

So I made the decision to rebuild the bottom cases and everything was fine till I read the fine print on the gasket maker I used for the center case. Not recommended for gas contact surfaces it said. So I'm stuck with not knowing what to do. Pull it all apart and get new correct gasket maker or leave it till it gives out?
Note: I do have a paper gasket in with the gasket maker

I would NOT leave it to fix later. I know the feeling because I had to take my 85R cases back apart too right after install, which ruined the gasket and I had to buy a second one.

I would suggest you fix it now rather than later. What will happen if the case gasket surface fails in a two stroke, especially in the crank galley, is that you'll get an air leak and air leaking into a running two stroke is bad.... Could cause a runaway if it leans out too much from the gasket leak and in my experience, things never go wrong in the garage. They go wrong when I'm pinned WFO deep in the woods and aimed at a tree or a fence.

Pull it apart and get some 1211 three bond on amazon. Best stuff IMO.
