I shared your article on my town facebook page, The average person in CT is freaked out and demanding national Guard keep people under lock down. I find it ironic that as a Sanctuary state Connecticut usually tells the FEDS to go pound sand suddenly wants FED intervention
Sorry, my f-up

Yep, here it does, heck i can pay three months mortgage payments and insurance for $1200 and still have enough for a take out meal, since we can't dine in now.... LOL Just how it is here. But its all relative, there is people here that can't afford that either, no matter where you are and how much living costs, there will be people below the median. However, it does seem like a $1200 check here means a lot more to people. But again, i can't judge, i live here, i'm part of this economy, and people elsewhere would probably call me poor! LOL

I bought my house on land contract, $200 min payment, and we agreed off paper that he'd like $500 payments when possible. Paid the house off in 4 years. $1200 does quite a lot in my area, but there are million dollar houses and such too, but not every house is that much, cheap houses are $20-40k, and more common is around $50-200k. My house is a cheap house, so it's not as nice, but I'd rather own a crappy little house than a really nice house and be in debt for 30 years.
