Finally restoring my 84 big red

Busy with life, a family of 5 and work has finally slowed down with this corona virus so I figured I might as well finally restore it. Parts have been sitting around for over 10 years lol. I can’t even find half of them. Anyway I pulled it apart yesterday, cleaned and painted the frame today, might start into the motor tonight. Is there a way yet to post pictures yet? It’s been probably 10 years since I was on here, I even had to make a new account. I remember it was a pain before

    Sounds like a worthwhile project.

Well the bike has been done and back together for a couple of weeks now. Been out riding with it a bunch. Runs great, starts easy. Still need to paint the tank and silver parts. I just haven’t wanted to deal with the stores and curb side pickup.
She does still smoke, guess it wasn’t the exhaust valve seal, I’m just debating to bore it and get a new piston or pull the top end off my parts bike, I’ll just drive it smoky for a bit till I decide.
Plus I have another project I just started. Lol
I’ll make up a new post for it.
