    ATC110 Ignition Coil Wiring

Hi! I have an ATC110 and I'm trying to use an aftermarket ignition coil on it. It has 2 male spade terminals on it (one green one black) Looks like on the bike I have 2 wires (one yellow one black) coming out of the stator and one wire coming from the ignition system. How would I go about wiring this up. Thanks!

There is a wiring diagram on this site you should be able to access. The yellow is for your lights. So if you eliminate that for now and hook up the other two leads you should be able to test for spark.

I'm not sure what year it is but I opened up the cover and it's a points ignition. How do I hook up the other two leads? Sorry I don't fully understand where they would go. If one is a lighting output then there is only one wire to the stator and then two other wires that I think need to be hooked up

You need an original 6 volt coil with the capacitor attached to it , if your trying to use an aftermarket 12 coil it won’t work .

This is the correct coil for a 79/80 Atc110 , seller has no clue what their selling lol but it’s the right one .
Very good price , these usually go for crazy money .

Black wire from stator goes to the coil wire and the points wire also connects to that same coil wire . It’s that simple , if you still have the original harness ?
