So fricken close. Put in a transmission from a donor bike but it wasn’t quite right. Had to split the cases again to replace it.
Meanwhile need a new crank case gasket so she’s back to waiting.
Got some of the woodwork done for the trays, just really want to get it running now.
What did you paint the motor with?
1984 HONDA ATC200M - OG, mid-restoration
1981 HONDA ATC200 - future build
1981 HONDA ATC185S - parts
1984 ATC200X - roller, future build
1984 Honda ATC250r - in a million pieces- ISO grab bar, PM if you have one

Looks pretty cool!
Did you put any type of paint/finish on the engine parts. Just trying to figure out how you got it looking that good. Awesome work.
Nicely done. Hard to believe that is the same trike shown in your first set of pics when you picked it up. Noticed a couple of beers in your "rebuilding process" pictures.
Very nice build. I especially like the wood. It’s a nice touch.
This build turned out really nice. Great work!
Are you starting on either of the other two machines that you got when you got this one?
I'm anxious to see a build thread on those as well
Sorry lads, been slacking off. Got it done and dialled in.
The motor was Vapor blasted but for the next few I’ll coat them in something after the Vapor. Maybe a Matt clear as the alloy does tend to show oxidation fairly quickly when left outside.
Carb had a ton of Vapor media in it so I ended up buying another one. She’s a bit hard to shift but runs great.
Mandatory bar on the front for beersies.
Yea, I’ve actually just picked up an atc90 as well, will build that quickly for my eldest son and I’m waiting on my 300r head and cylinder to come back from CT racing for the 250r.
Waiting on 250 parts from Mickey for the 200x, got most everything else I need along with new plastics for both but just waiting to get everything before I send the cases out for Vapor blasting.
Also picked up another 200 for $300 which needs frame repairs. Going to tig that one myself this time to save a bit of cash and use that for fishing.
