    One for the KDX200 fans

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FvnlNbhjyRc

Not sure anyone will care or want to see these but here's a link to me thrashing about on the 02 KDX. I'm in the middle of a build of an '87 KDX I plan on using as my hard enduro race bike (if the world ever opens back up). If y'all interested in seeing some of the videos from that build let me know and i will post them right here as well. Tomorrow we are putting some cartridge emulators in the forks and I will attempt to remember the cam to document the process.

Next to the XR250R, the KDX200 has to be one of the most useable trail bikes out there that is still capable in race mode.

I checked out one of your mountain bike vids. That's definitely how to stay in shape. A lot of professional dirt bike riders, mountain bike to stay in shape. I've done tens of thousands of road cycling miles, but mountain biking is much more of a workout over a shorter distance. I used to live next to 12 miles of single track mountain bike riding. Lots of elevation gain and rocks. Some technical riding. I'd ride some of it on my way home after work. Not having that in my back yard and I got fat'r' and slower.

Bought my house because of its proximity to the trail system. I actually do ride many many more road miles than MTB but the MTB is my love.

A horrible day racing a dirt bike is better than a horrible day not.

    Thanks for the vid.

I can't find the link... There was a guy running in the top 10 on a old KDX recently in a major event. He was up against factory riders on new bikes.

You are talking about Jordan Ashburn at the TKO. (here's a lil vid I found) Anyway, yes he was on an old KDX but don't let that fool you. Hes a factory Kawasaki GNCC rider. I mean this cat can flat haul the mail!!!! He came on his dad's old bike (KDX). He just proved its the rider not the bike, Those old KDX's are quite capable but at around 260lbs and only 200cc he was a lil outclassed but the 300's. Dont get me wrong those old KDX's are darned capable bikes but Jordan Ashburn has more talent in his big toe than the rest of us put together.

Here's the actual race footage I have from that AHRMA event I was at. I'm glad y'all actually watched that vid I posted of everyone passing me but it was a bit tongue in cheek. Hope you watch and enjoy this version of the race.

Looked like some fast ones that day! Thanks for posting, you kinda lit a fire under me to race next year and I want to join towards the end of the 2020. I am down with a fever so I am gonna check out the last video you posted. The vintage class seems like there is always the one 80 year old guy trying to push and get his bike back up or down on some hillside that would tire out a billy goat. Usually guys stop to help out. Best way to enjoy the woods in my opinion.
