hey all, i have an 84 kit 200 and i saw that the kit 250s have a speedometer with it. how hard would it be to try to put that speedometer on my trike? thanks

Without knowing much about them, I'll say that you may have to swap the whole front end over. Unless Kawasaki offered a speedometer as an option on the KLT200s. It still may be easier to do the front end swap since there wasn't very many KLTs sold compared to the ATCs.
