250R question

How much of a 1984 250R dirt bike can be used on a 250R 3 wheeler? Probably a dumb question but just came across a good deal on. a 250R dirt bike and wondered if I should even fool with it. I have zero desire to ride a dirt bike.

You mean the CR 250? There is also an XR 250R--which is a 4 stroke. The CR is a water cooled engine so you would need radiators. It won't have a counterbalancer, either, so it would vibrate a lot. The kick starter will swing in the wrong direction and hit the rear fenders. I suspect a lot of fab work would be necessary. I doubt it is worth it.

Thanks, Yes it was a CR 250R. I passed on it because I didn't know enough about it. It seemed like a good deal and yes, it was water cooled. Just seemed like a good deal but like I said, I have zero interest in riding bikes.
